This year, golfing fans have more to rejoice about as the Sime Darby LPGA Malaysia returns to the Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Club (KLGCC) from 9 to 12 October 2014.

With the new slogan ‘Women with Drive’, the tournament will witness another history in the making as Lexi Thompson confirmed her title defence, while six Malaysian-born professionals – dubbed the ‘Malaysian Angels’ – will be making their debut.

The fifth edition of the tournament will involve 75 players— made up of 63 players from the LPGA tour, 6 Malaysian nationals and a further 6 sponsor exemption (including one place in the Asia Qualifying Tournament)—will be competing in the 72-hole stroke play, no cut tournament for one of the biggest event in Asia.
